 The gravest problem facing modern Western people today?

Those who still believe Eastern European countries like Hungary, with its so-called Christian nationalist government, oppose the System or are somehow working against the forces of the successful 2020 global coup really need to wrap their heads around the country's enthusiastic support for the acceleration and amplification of the "green transition", which is being rolled out at a feverish pace around the world against the backdrop of the dreaded birdemic.
The Establishment has been pushing its green control and scam schemes for decades, but in the past year it has made an overt move to mainstream the transition to a net-zero economy. Central banks - the very lifeblood of the System - have been the driving forces behind this overt move. While the common man of the world has been locked down, masked up, and pecked, central banks have been working overtime to accelerate, amplify, and implement the greatest control and scam scheme ever attempted in the history of the world. Hungary's own central bank has recently joined the push, which means Hungary is now, despite all arguments to the contrary, firmly within the System's control: In October 2020, the Group of Thirty published a report titled Mainstreaming the Transition to the Net-Zero Economy (“G30 Report”), which sets out key recommendations to governments, central banks, financial intermediaries and corporations supporting the objective to accelerate the global transition to a net-zero emission economy. The Central Bank of Hungary, Magyar Nemzeti Bank (“MNB”), have been actively engaged in the field of environmental sustainability since early 2019. Within the framework of its Green Program, in the past two years MNB has launched multiple initiatives targeting climate change and environmental issues on various domains, ranging from the domestic financial sector to regional cooperation. The Green Program of MNB is built on the deep conviction that central banks have an important role in the green transition, even though the primary responsibility to lead climate change mitigation efforts rests with governments. Like governments, central banks provide crucial public goods to society, among others, by safeguarding financial stability and the preparedness of the financial system to withstand adverse economic shocks of various nature. Today it is very clear that the climate crisis jeopardizes the provision of such public goods. Therefore, MNB shares the view that – notwithstanding the aforementioned prime responsibility of governments - central banks potentially are also powerful actors in these respects as regulators of the “lifeblood” of economies, i.e. financial systems, and also as institutions that can lead by example. It's really adorable how the System continues to perpetuate the illusion of separate, independent institutions within its intricately-connected global totalitarian network. Forget normal or new normal; think birdemic, then greendemic. Control and scam is here to stay . . . or at least until they lose control and/or scam too much. Some organization called Winter Oak - which describes itself as "a not-for-profit organisation with a serious aversion to industrial capitalism and a commitment to social justice" - has published the following list called "10 Things We Have Learned During the Covid Coup." The list has been making its way around the Internet these past few days, so I thought it would be a good idea to take a look at it here:
1. Our political system is hopelessly corrupt. Virtually all politicians are hopelessly corrupt. No political party can be trusted. They all can be, and have been, bought. 2. Democracy is a sham. It has been a sham for a very long time. There will never be any real democracy when money and power amount to the same thing. 3. The system will stop at nothing to hold on to its power and, if possible, increase its levels of control and exploitation. It has no scruples. No lie is too outrageous, no hypocrisy too nauseating, no human sacrifice too great. 4. So-called radical movements are usually nothing of the sort. From whatever direction they claim to attack the system, they are just pretending to do so, and serve to channel discontent in directions which are harmless to the power clique and even useful to its agendas. 5. Any “dissident” voice you have ever heard of through corporate media is probably a fake. The system does not hand out free publicity to its actual enemies. 6. Most people in our society are cowards. They will jettison all the fine values and principles which they have been loudly boasting about all their lives merely to avoid the slightest chance of public criticism, inconvenience or even minor financial loss. 7. The mainstream media is nothing but a propaganda machine for the system and those journalists who work for it have sold their sorry souls, placing their (often minimal) writing skills entirely at the disposition of Power. 8. Police are not servants of the public but servants of a powerful and extremely wealthy minority which seeks to control and exploit the public for its own narrow and greedy interests. 9. Scientists cannot be trusted. They will use the hypnotic power of their white coats and authoritative status for the benefit of whoever funds their work and lifestyle. He who pays the piper calls the tune. 10. Progress is a misleading illusion. The “progress” of increasing automisation and industrialisation does not go hand in hand with a progress in the quality of human life, but in fact will “progressively” reduce it to the point of complete extinction. Given where we are in the global birdemic coup, Winter Oak's list strikes me as little more than a "Captain Obvious" catalog of the easily observable and the patently proved. All the same, in a world in which the vast majority of people remain oblivious to or resistant to the reality of the 2020 global coup, the list does possess the potential to come off as explosive, controversial, revolutionary, or eye-opening. Oddly enough, the list essentially notes many of the same observations I and the small circle of bloggers with whom I am fortunate enough to be associated have been describing in some detail for well over a year (and beyond). Most notably, Bruce Charlton, member of the above-mentioned circle of bloggers, even managed to successfully predict the birdemic coup months before it occurred. Anyway, via its list above, it's evident Winter Oak comprehends that things have essentially come to a point - that the gray area dividing good from evil has vanished - that things have been exposed, become more obvious, undeniable, etc. - yet when all is said and done, Winter Oak's list fundamentally misses the mark - which entails that Winter Oak also fundamentally misses the mark when it comes to the Big Picture of the global totalitarian coup. Like other leftist, non-Christian, and/or anti-Christian individuals or organizations, Winter Oak is great at describing the pieces of the jigsaw, but it cannot put the pieces together. It cannot put the pieces together because it lacks a coherent worldview based on the primacy of the spiritual; more specifically, a worldview based on Christianity. Winter Oak writes for something called The Acorn, an "organic radical bulletin" that is secular, anarchist, and leftist to the core. The Acorn gets the surface-level dangers of the Great Reset and a lot of other things, but its lack of a Big Picture perspective also leaves individuals within organizations like these open to believing in the reality of the traps the Establishment continues to peddle, most notably, the litmus test issues of the climate crisis and inequality, which Winter Oak affirms as pressing, real-world problems that it neatly categorizes under its revolutionary, social justice battle flag. Read the list again. Ten fairly solid observations, but not a hint of spiritual insight into what the global coup really means or what people can and should do about it from a spiritual perspective. And what are people who lack a worldview based on serious Christianity supposed to do with the Winter Oak list? Why join an "organic, radical" political and social movement and overthrow the technocrats, of course. And then? Well . . . And then, well what exactly? As they say in New York, fuggedaboutit. Winter Oak speaks of learning, but it - and groups similar to it - have learned nothing and will never really learn anything from the global coup. They have learned nothing and will never learn anything from the global coup because without the primacy of the spiritual, without a coherent, serious Christian worldview, without the willing and active choice to be on the side of God and Creation, there is essentially nothing to learn from the global coup beyond the potential of shifting temporal power from one group to another. Groups like Winter Oak can diagnose the symptoms, but they cannot and do not offer a real cure. They cannot and do not offer a real cure because they cannot and do not acknowledge the true source of the disease. These groups and the individuals who comprise them are nothing more than demonic snares - more specifically, Sorathic demonic snares. Above all else, they seek to destroy. And with the way things are going, the demons may just provide them with opportunities to do exactly that. Spiritually distance yourself from the System and its warring factions. Stay firmly on the side of Creation. Note added: By way of further criticism, I'd just like to mention that I believe Point 8 in the list is not really correct; the police have conventionally been the servants of the wealthy and powerful, but the police are currently being thrown under the bus by the same people they have so faithfully served. I also find Point 6 rather cute. I mean, it takes a lot of courage to criticize the bulk of humanity for its cowardice when you yourself are masked by a pseudonym. Furthermore, the organization in question seems to fit the definition it scathingly outlined in Point 4 . . . and so forth . . . This blog currently displays an error message when readers attempt to submit a comment. Despite the error message, the comments do get through.
I have not uncovered the source of this error message yet; as far as I can tell, everything in the settings is as it should be. Last week the blog was inaccessible for a day or so. Once again, I could not determine why. If I were the paranoid type, I would immediately assume that someone is running some low-level interference on the blog . . . Who knows? Maybe someone is. People who use Blogger recently experienced some perplexing technical issues as well. Whatever the case, I'm finding it difficult to write off the small cascade of glitches and errors I have had to deal with as mere coincidences. Let's hope the 'problems' are merely technical and accidental. In the meantime, I encourage readers to take note of my email address on the sidebar in case this site mysteriously goes black one day. From now on, attending Sunday mass will “once again be compulsory” for Catholics, except for the elderly and the sick, who will continue to be exempt, the Hungarian Catholic Bishops’ Conference (MKPK) said on Thursday. The general dispensation from attending mass prompted by the coronavirus epidemic has been discontinued, it said. The decision was based on the opinion of epidemiologists, with the lifting of coronavirus restrictions and the high rate of the inoculated taken into account, the church leadership said. At the same time, diocesan bishops have the freedom to introduce different rules based on local needs, the MKPK said. The bishops have asked the faithful to observe social distancing guidelines, wear masks and use hand sanitizers. None are safe until all are safe. That they actually believe they still possess some semblance of spiritual and moral authority is beyond laughable. Note added: I regularly attend Mass at the small Roman Catholic church in my village. Last year, this small village church shut its doors and essentially abandoned its congregation for six months. The closing tested the faith of a few people I know, but it didn't test mine. I am and remain a Christian despite the Church rather than because of it. This may come off sounding harsh, but I find that most contemporary Christians lack imagination and intuition; this is especially true when it comes to the mysteriously arduous task of conceptualizing spiritual freedom.
The freedom-giving aspects of Christ's earthly mission have been - to use George W. Bush's infamous garbling of two distinct words - "misunderestimated." Misunderestimated in the sense that the freedom Jesus offers has been both misunderstood and underestimated. To begin with, any conflation of the authentic spiritual freedom Jesus offers man with some form of perceived materialistic, individualistic, liberal freedom the given world purports to offer is erroneous and off-base. Worldly freedom based solely on materialism, individualism, liberalism or any other temporal 'ism' is slavery, not freedom. Slavery because all leftist "isms" are opposed to God. As such, all leftist 'isms' are also opposed to freedom. Moreover, they are also opposed to the divine potential and spiritual purpose of each unique human person, which means all "isms" are also opposed to man, both individually and collectively. As Dostoevsky's Grand Inquisitor lamented, Jesus's mission did not take mastery of people's freedom, but increased it. Put another way, Christ expands rather than restricts freedom; but the freedom Christ expands has nothing at all to do with social status, wealth, politics, hierarchies, and other worldly considerations, all of which lead to slavery if they take precedence over the primacy of the spiritual. How does Jesus expand freedom? In three distinct ways: freedom from, freedom for, and freedom with. The first aspect of Christ's mission on earth was to reveal freedom from the sin and death of the objectified, 'given' world. Once a person embraces freedom from sin and death, he can approach freedom for everlasting life. Once this choice has been made, mortal life transforms and the potential to become free for the purposes of God and Creation become accessible. Finally, Jesus offers man the potential to be free with God. Being free with God entails the recognition and utilization of the divine aspect of man; the understanding that each person can freely and actively work with God to contribute something unique to Creation, something God alone would not be able to contribute. Properly understood, Christianity expands rather than restricts freedom. Not the worldly, materialist, anti-spiritual, I-gotta-be-me, amplification-of-false-selves sort of un-freedom espoused by materialism, individualism, liberalism and other anti-God leftist "isms" -- but the Creation-aligned, fully spiritual, divine-personal, I-gotta-be-the-true-me, communication-of-the-divine-self sort of authentic Christian freedom epitomized and exemplified by Jesus Himself. Contrary to popular opinion, embracing the expanded freedom Christ offers does not denote arrogance or waywardness; on the contrary, it is a deep expression of love. Christians misunderstand the expanded freedom Jesus offers. They also underestimate man's potential to access and harness this expanded freedom. When God is devalued for the sake of man, man is ultimately devalued.
When man is devalued for the sake of God, God is ultimately devalued. When both God and man are valued for the sake of each other, the ultimate value of each will be revealed. I have mixed feelings about modern/contemporary illustrations and paintings featuring Christ and Christian themes. The vast majority I have encountered over the years tend to have a greeting card quality about them. Nevertheless, I have also come across some illustrations that really 'work'. It is aiming to instill a completely despiritualized consciousness locked firmly within the objectification of the given world. Once that is achieved, damnation is practically guaranteed. "With a sober peasant mind" is a common expression in Hungary. Sadly, when it comes to anything related to the birdemic, most Hungarians have lost their minds - sober peasant ones included. Of course, the same could be said of nearly any population anywhere in the world. But it wasn't always this way. Guess which one proved to be right in the end in this particular case. |
