Stephen Vizinczey recently made an announcement - he has completed his novel 3 Wishes. For the first time in many years, I am excited about the release of a book.
3 Wishes is a big deal. Here is why:
- Vizinczey is one of the world's greatest living writers. (In my mind, he is THE greatest living writer in the world today.)
- his last novel, the masterpiece An Innocent Millionaire, appeared in 1983.
- the release of 3 Wishes will finally break the thirty year silence since An Innocent Millionaire.
Why did it take thirty years to complete 3 Wishes? Vizinczey states it took him that long to "get it right."
Do yourself a favor and get the novel when it hits the shelves. Though I have not read it yet, I have complete confidence that it will be great.
