A Couple of Quick Climate Crisis Questions

Anyone happen to know what the carbon footprint of an average bomb or missile happens to be?

I only ask because a lot of them have exploded over the past two years or so, and I suspect all of them have negatively affected the environment, to say nothing of their impact on global warming.

So . . . how are we supposed to meet our climate targets if we keep blowing things up?

It seems geopolitical actions are exempt from climate consideration. One might assume that gives people pause. But to be fair a clear measurement of what is happening inside the current hell on earth would be so inaccurate it would never fit into the next model.

Yes, they appear to fit into the private jets category of climate change exceptions.

All that really matters in the end is that a lot of people drop dead; the sooner the better. Then everything will be okay, and the planet will be saved. Yay planet!

The US (almost certainly) blew up the natural gas pipeline between Russia and Germany, releasing a gigantic quantity of methane - which is a much more potent greenhouse gas than CO2.

@ Wandering Gondola - I am sure radiant weapons are good for carbon sequestration or some such thing.
