It Will Have To Get Worse - Here's Why

The title of this post is a parody of the kind of article titles one comes across on the World Economic Forum's website. The formula is a simple one -- an outlandish declaration followed by a teaser that promises to explain why the outlandish declaration not only makes sense, but is absolutely necessary for world survival.

The range of topics these sorts of articles address is both vast and comprehensive, but the same overarching message underpins them all: everything -- yes, everything including your job, your lifestyle, your nation, your outdated social views, your concept of money, your consumption habits, everything you believe, do, and are -- needs to be "reset".

I don't spend a great of deal time reading WEF articles anymore, but I happened to peruse a few recent ones today after I finished lunch. As I was doing so, I was struck by a rather obvious thought. For the Great Reset agenda to succeed, things will have to get worse -- much worse. Yes, things are bad enough as it is, and yes, you could argue that some of the initial Great Reset agenda points have already been implemented, but at the same time any full-scale implementation of the WEF's inconceivably all-encompassing initiatives will require conditions that are considerably worse than anything we have experienced in the past six or seven months.

Not a happy thought, I'm afraid, but I believe it is imperative to steel ourselves against the probability of things getting much worse in the near future.

This shouldn't be a surprise, since these operatives are - very directly - agents and tools of Satan; and while there yet exists love, goodness and God's creation, there will be plenty more destruction for evil to do. Things can always get worse!

What do we do with this knowledge? My Priest recommended buying extra food for ourselves and neighbors, but other than that? Maybe there is nothing physically, only spiritual.

@ Andrew - "What do we do with this knowledge?" Spiritual preparation is key - that may help guide us as far as physical actions go.

In any case, the point I am trying to make here is simple - if the Great Reset is pursued, it will necessarily entail things getting worse. There simply is no other way around it. After all, how do you globally "reset" something like capitalism (an expressed goal) without causing disruptions/negative consequences? How do you enforce equity without someone or some segment of the population not paying a price for it? And so on.

What we do not know is what "worse" may actually be. Worse could be something straightforward like increased taxes, financial curtailments, higher costs, etc. Then again, worse could end up being something far worse - economic disruptions. The problem with the Great Reset agenda is its comprehensiveness. They aim to reset everything. This is going to be extremely hard to prepare for. At best, (and there's nothing good about best) it may just be a drastic increase in bureaucratic burdens on the individual and society. At worst it could be system deterioration or collapse.

How we respond to whatever may come must be motivated by the spiritual and its connection with our intuitions.

Once one grasps what is afoot, there can be no physical preparation - because there is no 'end state' being aimed-at. Things will just keep on and on getting worse and worse, in all kinds of ways.

A model is the existing Social Credit system in China - but things would continue on from that.

For most people, we are talking about a mostly indoor life, very little/ no interpersonal social life or physical contact, little or no travel, communications (input and oputput) almost wholly by electronic media; and very high, moment by moment, surveillance - with almost every aspect of consumption or external activity controlled. Most will live on state allowances (or not) the workers will be told exactly what to do.

That's what the Establishment are saying they want for us - but not in those words.

@ Bruce - I didn't want to be as explicitly bleak as that in my response, but yeah - that's essentially it. What's alarming for me is the number of people who would be accepting of what you have outlined even if the Establishment were more explicit about its aims.

I appreciated William's post today - it provided clear insights into where our focus should be in this time and place.

Another point - those who refuse to accept the "worse" will simply be excommunicated from the System. Imagine not having access to a wholly digital currency system, for example. A few keyboard strokes will be all it takes to render an individual powerless.

I thought a rural "farming" type life would be best in response, with the least oversight - but as you pointed out you can't really plan there either.

I've seen the government decide that small rural towns are the ideal place to locate large numbers of refugees, housing projects, and new government offices to completely disrupt those towns.

@ Andrew - Don't misunderstand - I'm not suggesting our choices and what we do or do not do is unimportant. Our mortal lives and what we do with them/in them is of vital importance. If they weren't, evil would not work as hard as it does to corrupt our mortal lives.

The key for me is to not allow my concern for my mortal life to override the bigger picture. William Wildblood has recently written a great post about this. As for decisions like living in the countryside, I made a similar decision myself about five years ago. Overall, the decision was a good one and it has helped me immensely both physically and spiritually. At the same time, my decision to move to the country has not "saved" me in a physical sense. That is impossible.
