Modern People Positively Crave the Diktat of None Are Safe Until All Are Safe

If this recent WEF article is to be believed, people the world over positively crave the global totalitarian diktat of "none are safe until all are safe":

There is strong global support for vaccine passports, a new Ipsos survey for the World Economic Forum shows.
More than three-quarters of people worldwide think they should be mandatory for travel.
And two-thirds of people say you should need one to enter stadiums and concert venues.
More than half say the same should apply to shops, restaurants or offices.
And a similar percentage expect vaccine passports to be widespread by the year’s end.

Of course, nearly all the people surveyed agreed that peck passports should only be implemented temporarily . . .

The lockout key continues to turn. Speaking of turning, how long before the System begins to actively begin turn pecked humanity against unpecked humanity?

I think it started to turn long before the peck rollout. My parents have been begging me to accompany them to Europe for some future vacation, but I refuse to board a plane until all restrictions are removed.

They have gotten theirs already, I'm afraid.

@ Ingemar - That's a good point about refusal. Here in Hungary, barely anyone who gets a peck certificate pauses to consider the deeper implications of what they are doing or the possible fate of those who do not get a peck certificate. A real "got mine, screw you if you don't get yours" mentality has revealed itself over here.

@ Andrew - I can see the authorities pushing for that here. They keep ramping up the pressure and/or offering "incentives" to get that majority percentage. They claim it is to achieve herd immunity, but that's nonsense as far as I'm concerned.

They already turned masked humans against unmasked humans so pecked vs. unpecked is a short jump.

I don't put much trust in poll results. People like me never answer polls and people like me are always underrepresented in polls.

"None are safe until all are safe." I think of a passage from Dorothy Sayers's <i>Letters to a Diminished Church</i>:

"“The sixth deadly sin is named by the church acedia or sloth. In the world it calls itself tolerance; but in hell it is called despair. It is the accomplice of the other sins and their worst punishment. It is the sin that believes in nothing, cares for nothing, seeks to know nothing, interferes with nothing, enjoys nothing, loves nothing, hates nothing, finds purpose in nothing, lives for nothing, and remains alive only because there is nothing it would die for. We have known it far too well for many years. The only thing perhaps that we have not known about it is that it is a mortal sin.”

We hope that if we give busy-bodies what they want, they'll just shut up and we can get on with whatever we thought our lives were for.

Yes, I think this is the approach of a fair amount of people - at least the ones who aren't completely onboard with the insanity. The drawback of this approach is that it has become readily apparent that "they" will never shut up and "they" will never permit us to get on with whatever we thought our lives were for.

Of course, there's still plenty "they" can't take from us, but that's another aspect entirely.

I was surprised - in a good way - that last weekend apparently saw what may have been the largest ever spontaneous, anti-establishment and illegal demonstration in British history in London - against lockdowns.

I don't follow the news, and indeed it was either omitted from the news or else described as something trivial and about 100th of its real size (which was hard to estimate, since the crowd was so vast, and stretched for some miles - but seems at least 100K people in some shots, and quite possibly several fold more).

Since the demo was illegal and genuinely risky to participate-in this must be the tip of an iceberg.

Sadly, such responses, no matter how big, are still politically and socially feeble since they lack a coherent motivating positive agenda - which would (I believe) need to be Christian. But it is encouraging compared with the more evident cowardly and spiteful mass compliance - and it may be the start of something worthwhile for at least some people.

On the other side, this can only happen when people look for validation somewhere other than in vast crowds. These mass movements are trivially easy for Them to manipulate - and I think it very unlikely anything of the sort will be allowed to happen again, and allowed to pass off without hysterical reports of real or invented 'violence'.

@ Bruce - Yes, I agree - without a coherent, motivating, positive agenda (Christianity), such protests are unlikely to lead to anything significant. All the same, at least there are some sparks of resistance here and there.

I think it's lies. I think they're making up those numbers trying to convince you to not be a crank and a contrarian. You can see it with the vaccine. In the US 50% of the people got vaccinated now nobody else wants it and you can kind of assume that 30% of the people are stupid so they've already got it so all the sensible people are not signing up for a 3rd phase clinical trial. But I do think the truth is the elites are not going to let us move freely without the jab. I mean come on what more evidence do you need for that?

@ Whitney - That's it exactly. In the post I noted, "if this article is to be believed" . . . implying that the content of said article may be little more than a manipulative ploy.

How much the elites will be able to restrict movement remains to be seen. For the time being, air travel appears the easiest to restrict. If they spread out beyond that remains to be seen - but it is likely that they will try to roll out other travel restrictions, too.

Baloney. Those numbers are 100% made up, and discussing them as if there were even a chance that they might reveal something about “public opinion” is playing into the enemy’s hands.

@ Wm - Of course it's baloney! I never claimed the numbers were real or that they revealed anything about public opinion, but rather that they're being presenting as if they reveal something about public opinion.

In this case, the numbers are being presented to persuade and convince that the majority of people around the world support tyranny and want more of it.
