My Post About Christianity and Politics That Wasn't Meant to Be

I spent two hours working on an acerbic post challenging the argument that Christians should involve themselves in politics to help stem the tide of evil in this time and place only to have the Weebly platform mysteriously and irretrievably devour the post before I could publish it.

My initial frustration and disappointment over my "lost post" was quickly eclipsed by the revelation that the style in which I had chosen to write the post - mostly dismissive, somewhat ruthless - was not meant to be.

I will take a different approach to the topic and attempt to re-write the post tomorrow.

In the meantime, I will leave you with the main idea of my "lost post":

Christians should not focus on politics today because all politics is lies, all politics is external, all politics is firmly entrenched in the kingdom of Satan (our totalitarian world).

Christians should focus on inner transformation of consciousness, on truth, on the internal, and on sincerely connecting with Christ and the Kingdom of God.

May we turn away from politics' bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking -- for those are the tools of The Enemy.

I don't even remember what was happening in politics in March 2019 in particular that seemed worth commenting about, even in such indirect fashion, which only further proves your point.

I agree with you on your last paragraph. That is essential.

However, I've been fired up today more than I usually am (and that takes a lot) after hearing that the governor from my former State of NY is directing schools to set up vaccine centers in the schools. She said this will facilitate vaxxes faster once the FDA approves the drug for 5-12 year olds so they don't have to wait months to see their pediatrician. I also found an article from AMA (American medical association) stating that juveniles should be allowed to get the vaccine without parental consent. BINGO! Shoot up all kids in school using coercion and peer pressure. It's gonna get really ugly really fast when little Samantha comes home and tells daddy she got the vax or when little Johnny comes down with a "rare" case of myocarditis.

So while I agree that the realm of politics is full of lies and evil, there will be no other possibility of stopping this before a lot of people get hurt without the aid of someone who can do something about it.

Unless Jesus comes back, and that time seems like it's getting a lot closer.

@ Michelle - I disagree. There are other possibilities. Our job is to discover them and utilize them.

If we put our hope in politics now, we are basically declaring that we have not learned anything and that we have no real hope. I'm afraid it really is that simple.

I understand and sympathize with people who feel the pressing urge "to do" something now to stem the tide, but politics is not the thing "to do."

I have spent a ... considerable ... amount of thought questioning whether or not we are, indeed, in the end times. Every day in church we pray "until You come again."

Jesus Christ walked this earth as the Lamb of God.

His Return might well be as the Lion of Judah.
That would be no joke.
"Vengeance is mine, I will repay"

For all who worship false idols, who shield themselves in "popular" political ideology, who have been relentlessly and ruthlessly propagandized: may they find Him while He can still be found, while His grace and mercy are still available!

For this we pray, for the Good of All Humanity.
Lord, hear our prayer.
