Not Heavy or Overwhelming Anymore

I used to let the world weigh on me on quite a bit in the past. I often worried about the decline of civilization, the splintering of society, the dissolution of decency, the erosion of goodness, and all the rest of it.

I still think about these things now -- and blog about them quite a bit -- but none of it feels as heavy and overwhelming as it had in the past.

The 2020 global totalitarian coup has had a great deal to do with it. Once I recognized the coup for what it truly is, I came to the startling realization that things that had burdened me before the coup -- things like culture and social life -- are no longer symbolic of basic spiritual realities. Why? For the simple reason that the vast majority of the "stuff" in culture and social life has been disconnected from spiritual reality.

The objects within culture and society have ceased to be anchored in anything personal and subjective; hence, they have no relationship to truth or reality because truth and reality exist only in the personal and subjective.

Society and culture have fused into a "given" world that has been severed from the "created" world.

The "objects" within culture and society could never realize the primary reality of spirit, but they were able to symbolize them to a greater or lesser degree if the people within culture and society were aligned with spiritual realities. The "objects" could not produce reality, but they could serve as signs of reality.

The "objects" within today's culture and society are engineered to deny the primary reality of the spirit. Rather than symbolize the reality of the spirit, today's culture and society symbolize nothing but opposition to God and Creation.

The "objects" within the post-2020 world cannot produce reality, nor can they serve as signs of reality. The "objects" in today's culture and society are just objects, symbolizing nothing -- or, more precisely, symbolizing non-being.

Once I realized that post-2020 culture and society had ceased being symbolic in the "true, beautiful, and good" sense" of the word, they ceased feeling heavy and overwhelming. In fact, they ceased feeling like anything much at all.

One of the tube channels reporting on things that aren't right in my area is called 'Cafe Weltschmerz'. That name appeals to the feels that have corresponded with me for almost 2 decades. But it also clarifies what one perhaps should not do; try to carry the weight of all the nonsense. Once the sting operation got fully underway i started to understand what Christ's 'narrow path' meant. I am a sinful bum by many means but the thirst for knowledge, real conversations and meaningful human interaction at large keeps coming back, you never truly 'go back into the box'. Most people are not interested, whether by design or nature. It has been that way for millennia in varying degrees. So nothing has really changed except for the power of the tools that the agents of Lucifer and Ahriman wield. Relating that to the deeply infectious wrong turns science took ALOT has changed but my 7-mile boots are strapped on tight.

Unfortunately, more trauma and loss is required before the majority of humanity will be able to see the dimensions and functionality of their prison. And until then we might as well stop worrying about communicating that fact, even though i still believe Effective Communication can 'save us'. Just not right now, things have to get worse before they can get better. At this point in time i am mostly upset about the idea that i might not make it for another 20 years, for the sake of sharing information that would be lost otherwise. Personal legacy or book sales and credits for that is all irrelevant blabla, i am concerned about the loss of information. While it is never lost for eternity and perhaps i should not care at all; it took some time to relieve myself from the weight of all of this. It is definitely freeing when it turns into a realization; the way that our realm functions can be understood by a systemic build up of frameworks, in order to destroy them properly. When DJ Shadow said 'the music is coming through me' and for Mozart, that same thing simply happened, that exemplifies what happens outside of regular language. Transcendence just happens. Most of our interfaces suck, a couple of them are fantastic and that's what we call 'genius'. There was never a system where everyone was supposed to 'get' all of these things, or maybe it existed but it got subverted by the usual suspects.

In any case, the current state of things is masquerading as something new, when it is not. It feels easy when you accept the tenet that nothing changed. And this paradigm will fail.

Touching and true.
I am finding I can read a good book, or listen to a good song, and not worry so much about the heavy fate of "civilization". Those works are there, for eternity. God is real. Jesus is there for us. We don't need to "save" this society, an impossible task anyway. Just let it happen. But pursue a relationship with God and let the Holy Spirit guide us.

@ Todd - Well put. Some books, music, etc. still connect with reality (or are eternally connected with reality). As such, they can offer us symbolic connections to reality. Sadly, not much can do so in today's society and culture. If it still exists -- and it must -- then it will likely be found in non-mainstream places, unknown artists, etc.
