Our Baba, she passed in the last few years, and we continue to feel her. I've never known anyone with such grace in all circumstances. I often wished western women had even an iota of such positive spiritual force. They know themselves to be Matriarchs and take their role to keep their children and grandchildren and (so on) on the right path. I have no doubt they'd scare off a demon with ease!

@ William, Craig - Chorts are minor demons in Slavic folklore. According to the artist, chorts are afraid of cats. I haven't found any other information to verify this. For me, it's enough to know chorts are afraid of babushkas! Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
