I still complete the majority of my reading the old-fashioned way - with paper books - but I also enjoy downloading and reading electronic versions of classics I do not own. Unfortunately, many of the classics I have downloaded over the years have been of rather poor quality and have contained formatting issues that have seriously hampered my enjoyment of the text.
Anyway, this might not be news to some, but there's a cool little site called Planet Ebook that offers a high-quality selection of some well-known classics for free. Sure, it's no Project Gutenberg, but the quality of the texts on Planet Ebook is amazing. The following message appears on their site:
