In the meantime, I am going to move indoors and work on the interior of the building - drywall, painting, flooring, furnishings, etc.
Note done yet, but almost there. I am happy with how it is turning out.
The outbuilding renovation I began in the summer is nearly finished. This is what it looked like after I stripped off the original roof and began building the walls higher. Once the walls were up, it was time for a new roof. My father helped me with both. After shingling the roof, I focused on insulating the walls and putting in the window. When that was done, I covered the exterior with some base paint, and that is where the project stands now. I still need to install the doors and finish the trim, both of which I will do tomorrow. The exterior still needs to be plastered, but I probably won't do that until the spring because the nights are too cold now.
In the meantime, I am going to move indoors and work on the interior of the building - drywall, painting, flooring, furnishings, etc. Note done yet, but almost there. I am happy with how it is turning out.

It's looking good. Would you remind me what you plan to use it for?

@ Luke - A workshop - somewhere I can store my tools, repair things, and complete smaller hobby projects.

A solid job. As a teen, I helped my father with a similar project - a rather special 'garden shed' - and the structure still stands in good condition 50 years later.

@ Bruce - Thanks for that. I think there's something special about fathers and sons working together on such things. My son is still a little young for this kind of project, but I hope we will be able to work on something similar together in the coming years.
