Take a deep breath -- this is gonna hurt . . .
The other day I got to thinking about the individuals behind the global diktat of "none are safe until all are safe", which inevitably led to me to national health ministers. The following is a sample of some of the people who have been working overtime during the birdemic to ensure the safety and health of citizens within their respective countries. Take a deep breath -- this is gonna hurt . . . Note added: The decision to investigate health ministers was partly inspired by a post from another blog.

The only one who looks remotely healthy is the last one. He'll probably outlive the rest.

Anyone who recognizes the broad-validity of physiognomy will, like me, be very dismayed at what you have depicted.

@ Bruce - I didn't know Edward Dutton had written a book on the subject, but I count myself among those who recognize the broad validity of physiognomy -- which does make this post quite dismaying.

Belgium and the U.S. are self-evidently unqualified for anything to do with health. And that's exactly why they were hired.

@ Avro G - Yes, you hit the nail on the head there.

I spent a bit of time a couple of years ago looking at US State Supreme Courts. (For our non-US friends, each state has its own Supreme Court, over which little drama is had).

For the US one: Check the Wikipedia entry for Rachel Levine, the US Asst Sec of Health. Specialized in pediatrics/adolescents. Note the years -- age at m-f transition, divorce, appointments to govt posts.
