What Will the Abyss See When It Gazes Into You?

The other day I read a secular blog post outlining the “inevitable” elimination of cash and the introduction of central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). The post informed its readers that a CBDC would permit globalist forces to control the material world and quickly extinguish “liberty” once and for all.

The post ended with the words, “Do not comply!” Interestingly enough, the first brief comment immediately following the post offered an exasperated challenge to the noble, defiant command. “Do not comply? How in the hell am I supposed to not comply with that?”

It’s a pertinent question. We saw how quickly people complied with the peck when threatened with job loss. Most never even made it that far and gave in the second they faced ultimatums concerning school attendance, travel restrictions, going to nightclubs, eating in restaurants, playing sports, and so on.

Of course, people who complied with the peck for any of the reasons above will undoubtedly have little or no reservations about falling in line with a central bank digital currency, especially if the Establishment introduces the CBDC as a “solution” to a pressing, overriding “problem” that requires an immediate solution. But what about the people that are serious about not complying with a CBDC? What choice(s) will they ultimately have?

The ominous threat of a cashless society has loomed on the horizon for decades, so despite the ever-increasing headlines on the subject in the media, I think it is unwise to obsess over things like CDBCs. There’s no guarantee that the Establishment will ever implement such a system (they may just be issuing threats). If it does, there’s every possibility that the system will not work (the technology may be flawed; they may lack qualified people to oversee such a system; the public may resist, etc.) That doesn’t mean we should be complacent about the Establishment’s agenda; it just means that we shouldn’t assume that everything the Establishment promulgates via the media will come to fruition or work in the way the Establishment envisions it.

Returning to the exasperated comment about non-compliance, let’s assume the Establishment successfully implements a “Mark of the Beast” financial system in the West. Let's also assume it is a system from which no one -- not even the most gun-happy, bunker-stocked, bomb-sheltered, gold and silver-laden prepper/survivalist -- is immune. How can we / do we not comply?

We do not comply when we actively choose to see/understand the thing for what it is and remain firmly aligned with God and Creation despite everything.

Seeing/understanding the thing for what it is means seeing/understanding that a CBDC, like the birdemic and its peck, is a product of pure demonic evil with no redeeming, God-aligned qualities whatsoever. That means no personal rationalizations, justifications, or excuses like the ones we witnessed and experienced during the birdemic and its subsequent peck agenda.

Remaining aligned with God and Creation is the active choice to adhere to the created world while the given world appears to overwhelm it. This choice is eternal.

I’ll refer to everyone’s favorite “anti-Christ” philosopher whose most famous aphorism “Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you” is known even to those who have never read Nietzsche and would struggle to spell his name.

A CBDC system would be the totalitarian capstone of the Establishment’s highest Ahrimanic ambitions. Everyone will be gazing into the abyss if such a system comes to be; however, how we gaze into the abyss matters.

Will our gaze welcome and embrace the abyss? Will we gaze into it with fear and terror? How about resentment? Despair? Or will we choose to gaze into the abyss differently?

Moreover, while we are gazing into the abyss, the abyss will also be gazing into us. What will it see when it does? Will it see an inglorious reflection of itself and its demonic motivations, or will it see something else entirely?

What the abyss sees is entirely up to us. That is where "do not comply" matters because it is there that our choice for God and Creation will sear into the abyss for all eternity.

Oh, and by the way, the abyss is always gazing into you in this world . . . or at least trying to.

The Nietzche quote caught my eye. In my post-Christian malaise I have been listening to The Nietzche Podcast: https://anchor.fm/untimely-reflections
I read some of him in college and the podcast reminded me: he is a giant. Nobody else is even close.

Son of a Lutheran minister who died when Nietzche was only five. At age 41, Nietzche purchased a new tombstone for his father's grave, and had inscribed on it, “Die Liebe höret nimmer auf” -- “Love never faileth,” 1 Corinthians 13:8.

He was taken from us too early and it would have been interesting to see what the perspective of old age would have rendered.

@ Anti-Gnostic - Understandably, Nietzsche receives a great deal of flack from Christians, but Nietzsche really had his finger on the pulse when it came to the ailments of the 19th century -- ailments have only worsened since.

Nietzsche criticized the Christianity of his day, but the Christianity of his day was no longer Christianity in the true sense of the word. The German philosopher Max Scheler claims Nietzsche's criticism of Christianity was actually a criticism of the bourgeois, conventional, materialistic consciousness that had eclipsed Christianity by the end of the 19th century.

I am inclined to agree with this assessment. If Nietzsche had pushed passed the surface, external, bourgeois elements, he may have found his solution to the superman and the genealogy of values in Christ sans the religion founded in His name.

I refer to Nietzsche sometimes on this blog, mostly because I do not want Christians to fall into the same trap Nietzsche fell into. Serious Christians may find themselves in a Nietzschean state of disgust and revulsion when they finally come to terms with how horribly corrupted and genuinely evil most of organized Christianity has become.

But serious Christians must resist the temptation of abandoning Christ. The horrible bastardization of Christianity by those who profess to uphold the faith is demotivating and unsettling. Nevertheless, I believe a serious Christian can turn his back on a church and still remain faithful to Christ. In fact, it's getting to the point where it almost impossible to do otherwise. I don't let this fact fill me with despair. On the contrary, I see it as the way things must be in this time and place. We are all being "forced" to accept personal responsibility for our faith and beliefs.

On a side note, I firmly believe Nietzsche was saved -- that he saw the truth after his death, confirmed it, and accepted Christ's offer.

I agree that Nietzche was reacting against what Vox Day refers to as "Churchianity". This morning I saw a twitter thread from some Christians abusing the notion of forgiveness to overlook wrongdoing. It brought to mind Francis's earlier post on altruism and how it is a distortion of genuine Christianity. Many Christians are acting as if Christ set up a suicidal death cult while mumbling Enlightenment platitudes. With a decrepit faith like that, it's no surprise that young people are looking into paganism for spiritual answers.

However, it's important not to abandon Christ b/c of modern church leadership. It would be the equivalent of giving up on eating in response to the disgust at modern fast food.

Thank you that is beautiful!
I was speaking to a Canadian who was mystified at the idea that there was a vaxx mandate in his country. He said he took it by his own choice. Completely discounted the idea that there was coercion. But I think if one was forced one ought to admit it at least. He reminds me of a prisoner who refuses to touch the bars. Is that what you mean or am I completely off the mark?

@ Hannah - Thanks. Concerning Canada, though there are exceptions, the Canadian you describe represents the majority in that country. I grew up in Canada and spent most of my young adult life there. I yearned to leave after I turned 18. I finally left at the age of 29. One of the best decisions I have made in my life.

"But I think if one was forced one ought to admit it at least."

Yes, that is exactly what I mean. Honesty is crucial, not only for repentance, but also for maintaining contact with reality. If I am coerced, but pass off the coercion as willing participation that I welcomed, then the coercion has succeed in causing deep spiritual harm on top of whatever physical/material harm it has inflicted. I think this is significant because spiritual harm is the ultimate goal.

Cruel fate! Now you're in a country that doesn't understand basic economics!

A lot of people view coercion as nothing less than holding an actual gun or equivalent to one's head. Almost everyone who took the peck shot did so for job reasons or simply wanted to stop wearing masks, undergo testing, and get their lives back. While this was not a gun to the head scenario, the decision was certainly made under duress.

However, Satan does want people to consent to evil. That's the only way he can have power over people's souls. Therefore, he uses his servants (journalists) to manipulate people into accepting and supporting this coercion.

@ Lady Mermaid - Coercion involves persuading someone to act involuntarily via threats and other pressure tactics. On the job front, any employer that told their employees that the peck was necessary to remain employed was using coercive tactics. These tactics succeeded in getting many people to choose the peck even though they personally may not have wanted it or gotten it. In other words, the threat motivated them to involuntarily take the peck to avoid the possibility of losing their jobs.

The thing is, many in the involuntary group then went on to claim that the decision was their own voluntary decision; that is, the decision they would have made even in the absence of the coercion. The problem with this is it ignores the influential role the coercion had in their decision. This is dishonest.

Others shrugged off all responsibility by claiming they had no choice. This is likely true for many since few can afford to be unemployed. At the same time, it also demonstrates an unwillingness to push back, explore other options, have faith, etc. The second case involves the rejection of all personal responsibility, which again, is dishonest.

I don't want to antagonize those who took the peck, but I think it is vital that they are honest and forthright to themselves about how and why they took it.

Behavior is one thing. We can all quite easily be coerced into doing practically anything. A veritable slave who has no control over the external world can still be a Christian and can still be saved. What really matters are our attitudes, evaluations, and understanding of the coercion that occurred. That's the overall point I'm getting at here.

I was recently involved in a discussion with another Christian who admitted he did not want to take the peck because he was concerned the peck contained fetal cells. This went against his religious beliefs. When his employer demanded the peck, this Christian turned to his priest, revealed his reasons for conscientious refusal, and asked for an exemption. The priest told him he would not provide one. On top of that, the priest told the Christian he could take the peck in "all good conscience". After that, the Christian felt free to ignore his conscience and get the peck. He maintains that he was not coerced, that he did nothing "wrong", and that he is not blame if anything bad happens to him. In other words, he has not only convinced himself that he has not acted against his conscience, but also refuses to accept any personal responsibility for the decision.

@ AG - The country in which I live is a hopeless vassal state. Furthermore, all countries in the West have turned their backs on basic economics.
